✧ The exhibition explores the return of heavy machinery and infrastructural systems to the centre of our attention at a time when digital ideology promised their invisibility and “weightlessness.” Against the backdrop of contemporary wars, ecological crises, and the collapse of sustainable futures, machines re-emerge as ambivalent symbols of power, destruction, and anxiety. The project traces how technology appears in contemporary visual culture as an “infrastructural spectre” of modernity, bringing materiality, labour, and violence back into view.
